2023 Kia Seltos facelift revealed! Badass reborn? » MotorOctane

The Seltos facelift has been one of the most awaited cars in the country. Since its launch in 2019, the car has been selling like hotcakes. Even now, the car doesn’t feel old, but the only constant in a market like India is change. Kia introduced the Seltos facelift in South Korea last year and now it has finally launched the car in India. In today’s article, let’s talk about the new 2023 Kia Seltos facelift.

Reservation and Launch

Kia will open bookings for the Seltos facelift on July 14. The Seltos facelift will be offered in three trims: X-Line, GT Line and Tech Line. Colour options include 8 monotone colours, 2 dual-tones and a Matte Graphite. Kia has also launched K-Code, which will send existing customers a code that their friends and family can use for home deliveries. This code will be available from 12 am to 11:59 am on July 14.

2023 Kia Seltos new – Design

Kia has updated the exterior design of the Seltos facelift. At the front, we now have a new grille divided into two parts with a new DRL design. The DRL design continues above the LED headlamps and ends at the indicators. Then below, we have the LED fog lamps. The side profile is more or less similar to the previous model, except for the new alloy wheel design. At the rear, there are new tail lamps in an inverted L shape with a connecting strip in the middle. Overall, the Seltos now looks more aggressive and modern.

Features

The Kia Seltos facelift continues with two engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol (113 hp/144 NM) and a 1.5-litre diesel (113 hp/250 Nm). There are many options for transmission, from manual to AT. The new feature added to the Seltos facelift is the new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, offered for the first time in the Carens. This engine can produce 158 hp and 253 Nm of torque. Transmission options include manual and DCT transmission.

The Kia Seltos took its feature game to the next level with its launch in 2019. Fast forward now, the Seltos has once again set a new benchmark for other manufacturers to follow. The refreshed version features a panoramic sunroof, a new digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, and sequential indicators. Kia has also added an extra layer of safety by adding Level-2 ADAS to the Seltos facelift. Other safety features include 6 airbags, hill start assist, VSC, ESP, etc.
