Galaxy AI to be available on 200 million Samsung devices by 2024

Earlier this year, Samsung introduced Galaxy AI, a suite of AI-powered features, with the Galaxy S24. These AI features were rolled out to higher-end devices a few weeks later. Samsung has now promised to release Galaxy AI on 200 million devices this year.

At the Galaxy Unpacked event today, Samsung announced that Galaxy AI will be available in 200 million devices worldwide by the end of 2024.

Since Galaxy AI is already rolling out to compatible devices, we think Samsung is counting down the possible sales figures for the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Buds 3, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Watch Ultra.

If you don’t know what Galaxy AI is and how it works, watch our detailed video below.

Galaxy AI was released to several high-end phones and tablets (Galaxy S, Galaxy Tab S, and Galaxy Z series) with the One UI 6.1 update a few months ago. Samsung will add more features to Galaxy AI with the One UI 6.1.1 update for compatible foldable phones and tablets. This update could also be released to Galaxy S series phones in the next few weeks or months.

Some of the new Galaxy AI features that Samsung showcased at today’s event include AI-powered reply suggestions for messaging apps and Draw Assist in Samsung Notes. Draw Assist is the ability to draw a rough sketch over an existing image and then turn that sketch into a realistic painting.
