Four cloning devices found at grocery store gas pumps in northwest Lincoln

Four credit card skimming devices were found inside a grocery store in northwest Lincoln, according to the Lincoln Police Department.

Around 12:30 a.m. Monday, officers went to the Super Saver at 840 Fallbrook Drive on a report of a scam, Capt. Todd Kocian said.

A Super Saver employee who looked at the gas pumps discovered four credit card skimming devices. Two of the pumps had the devices mounted externally and the other two had them mounted internally.

Police said the devices had been planted since May 30.

LPD encouraged citizens to monitor their credit and debit card transactions and contact their financial institutions immediately if they notice any suspicious activity.
