Clemson has the highest-rated defensive player in the College Football 25

Wednesday was an eventful day for EA Sports College Football 25 and those eagerly awaiting the first NCAA football video game in 11 years.

College Football 25 announced its ratings For the Top 100 Individual Players in the Game. As for Clemson players, Barrett Carter was not only named the Tigers’ best player, but also the best overall defensive player in the game. Carter received a rating of 94, making him the No. 15 highest-rated player EA.com.

Carter is ranked as the best defensive midfielder in College Football 25, which will be fully released on July 19, ahead of Iowa’s Jay Higgins (16th overall).

As previously mentioned, two Clemson players cracked EA’s Top 100 rating. In addition to Carter, defensive tackle Peter Woods is ranked 91st on the College Football 25 list with a 90 overall rating.

Among the individual attributes, EA gave Carter scores of 89 for speed, 94 for acceleration, 79 for strength and 97 for awareness.

Woods scored a 75 for speed, 89 for acceleration, 94 for power and 87 for awareness.

The three highest-graded players were Michigan cornerback Will Johnson, LSU left tackle Will Campbell and Oklahoma State offensive lineman Ollie Gordon, all of whom received an overall grade of 96.

Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders was the highest-rated quarterback at No. 17. The Buffaloes also had the highest-rated wide receiver in Travis Hunter (No. 6).
