Kith and Birkenstock’s Hit London Braided Releases in 2 New Colors – Footwear News

Last fall, Kith and Birkenstock introduced a new version of the London clog with suede knits covering the entire upper. All three colorways quickly sold out, but are now being followed up with two new versions.

The Kith x Birkenstock London Braided will be releasing this week in “Lilac Ash” and “Birch” finishes. The former is the more colorful of the two, pairing a pale suede upper with a darker shade for its threaded leather cord and mudguard. Complementing the rail is an ash-colored outsole. The “Birch” is more in line with previous colorways, using a monochromatic range of beiges across the upper and outsole.

Each pair of Londons features a hand-knitted buckle strap with Kith’s embossed script logo. For sizing, Kith recommends ordering a full size smaller than you normally wear.

Kith and Birkenstock have been collaborating since 2019, but none have had a bigger release than the London Braided. Pairs have sold for over $600 on the market, with the highest prices seen for the black version with a sheepskin sole.

However, in both new versions, sheepskin is not used, in a move more suitable for the summer months.

The Kith x Birkenstock London Braided “Lilac Ash” and “Birch” are available now via a raffle in the Kith app, with entries accepted. The limited-edition pieces will also be available on Kith’s website, stores, and app on Friday, July 12. Pricing is set at $295.
