Pilot Experience Sim Releases Final King Air C90 Development Update

Pilot Experience Sim Releases Final King Air C90 Development Update

Following on from our last update in May, Pilot Experience Sim has provided a new development update for the King Air C90 for MSFS.

Developed by American aircraft manufacturer Beechcraft, the King Air C90 is the smallest of the King Air series. However, the aircraft is renowned for its reliability and performance in both civilian and military applications. The type entered service in the mid-1960s and production recently ended in 2021. The C90 is known for its comfortable flight characteristics, is powered by Pratt and Whitney PT6A engines and has a pressurized cabin. Over the years, the aircraft has received a number of design improvements aimed at improving performance and handling. Due to its short-field capabilities and smooth ride, the King Air C90 remains the aircraft of choice for business travel and special air missions.

In Pilot Experience Sim’s second development update for the C90, they highlight all the hard work that went into the cockpit design. To ensure the highest levels of detail and accuracy, the team spent time in real King Air C90s and got help from C90 pilots and technicians. Compared to the previous preview, the cockpit is now nearly complete with Garmin G1000 avionics. Between the smudges on the glass screens and the modeling of the textured carpet, it’s clear that Pilot Experience Sim didn’t overlook any detail on this aircraft.

No information has been provided yet on a possible release date, but it’s exciting to see steady progress on this project and it’ll be interesting to see what the developer has planned for the next update.
