The race weekends consist of two race days.

“The new Summer Championship Series is part of our overall Sport Development Strategy to provide year-round racing opportunities for our members and developing athletes,” said John Farra, USA Biathlon’s Director of Sport Development. “This is a great opportunity for athletes to come together and compete with other biathletes from around the country, especially in their own region, and continue to work on their biathlon skills. While the winter season can be challenging to schedule events without conflicting with international events for our top athletes and Nordic events for our developing athletes, the summer is much more open to trying out these local racing opportunities. The Western Regional Championships saw a good turnout in Utah, including representation from our Alaskan biathletes, and now we are excited to head to Brillion for our first Midwest Regional Championship event. It promises to be a great event, so join us if you can!”
