Eriez introduces new models in its suspended electromagnet series

The new SEV series is added to the Eriez SE7000 series and offers more power in a smaller space

ERIEZ has announced the launch of its new SEV series suspended electromagnets, representing a significant advance in design. The new units feature stronger magnets housed in smaller housings, reducing overall weight and installation costs while optimizing performance efficiency.

Integrated into the Eriez SE7000 series, the new SEV models utilize state-of-the-art wire and conductor technology to energize the magnet circuit and also require less coolant for operation.

The new cable configuration with an ultra-thin anodized insulation layer provides superior thermal conductivity, ensuring high heat dissipation within the circuit, improving magnet performance.

Despite their compact size, these magnets offer better performance than their larger counterparts, providing consistent and reliable operation, says Eriez.

Dave Heubel, Global Magnetics Product Manager at Eriez, highlighted the practical benefits of the SEV series’ innovative design, saying: ‘As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we have been able to fit more magnet power into a smaller space, reducing costs and increasing productivity for customers through trouble-free installations and more stable, reliable performance.’

Eriez also offers self-cleaning versions of all SEV models. Additionally, a variety of options are available, including dust caps, drop-in coils for height, high-fire point coolers, armored belts, and a multitude of other customizable features for unique applications.
