Authorities told Atlanta News First that officers will continue knocking on doors Thursday in the Forest Villas area where a man was wounded in a shooting on July 7. They hope to find leads in the case and to notify residents that they have increased the reward to $5,000 for information leading them to the gunman.

Any information regarding the shooting can be submitted through an anonymous tip line: (770) 483-TIPS (8477). Tipsters can text (678) 654-8845. They can also email [email protected] or call a specific officer directly at (770) 483-6600.
