John Hardy and Todd Snyder join forces over their shared love of the sea.

Led by creative head Reed Krakoff and menswear designer, the jewelry brand has come together on a limited-edition, seven-piece nautical-themed jewelry collection for men.

The collaboration stemmed from Krakoff and Snyder’s longtime friendship and the jewelry brand’s recent addition to several of the menswear designer’s retail stores. The jewelry received a positive response from Snyder’s customers, prompting the design duo to create a co-branded collection.

“Men’s jewelry has never been more popular, and I love the color and individual style statement it adds to a basic linen shirt or oversized sweater,” Snyder said. “I’ve been watching the evolution at John Hardy over the last few seasons, and when the opportunity came up to collaborate with Reed and the John Hardy team, I jumped at it. There’s a new, fresh attitude to the brand that feels right for summer, and the signature new finish almost feels like it’s been worn down by the sea. You couldn’t ask for more summer vibes.”

The collection is handcrafted and includes styles such as dog tag necklaces, double-wrap bracelets, signet rings and other styles designed with John Hardy’s signature chain design. The styles are also adorned with an anchor motif for an even greater nautical vibe.

“I’ve watched Todd’s vision of how to dress the modern man evolve, and jewelry has always been a signature piece of that,” Krakoff said. “Many of the models at Todd’s fall 2024 show in Florence wore John Hardy jewelry, and that’s when we realized we wanted to create a collection together. We both live on the beach and equally love the strength and character of weathered patina on objects that have been left outdoors. Even though they’re brand new, these pieces look like they’ve been around for years.”

The collaboration comes just months after John Hardy officially launched its men’s jewelry category, introducing its first collection of nearly 75 styles including necklaces, bracelets, rings and more.

It’s also been a busy year for Snyder, who made her debut at Pitti Uomo in January. The show was Snyder’s first runway show in four years. More recently, Snyder opened her third California store, located on Abbot Kinney in Venice.

The John Hardy for Todd Snyder collection ranges in price from $550 to $995 and will be available in stores and on both brands’ websites starting Thursday.
